Welcome to the ELSA 6/7 for Smaller Communities curriculum website. The ELSA 6/7 for Smaller Communities curriculum has been revised and enhanced based on instructor input. On these pages you will find electronic links to the entire curriculum and to individual modules for easy access.

The ELSA 6/7 for Smaller Communities curriculum has been developed for newcomers outside the BC Lower Mainland to help them achieve their language, settlement, and individualized learning needs. The curriculum is task-based and incorporates the Canadian Language Benchmarks at Stage II, Levels 7 and 8. It is geared to learners who already have strong intermediate English language proficiency, with a view to helping them further develop and refine their language skills.
