Planning Tools

The planning tools are available to provide easy access to a variety of tools and resources to assist you in your lesson planning. The Module Model Activity Plans (MAPs) are sample progression charts to help you plan your own lessons. They are customizable Word documents, so you can add, change, and delete to suit your teaching context. The New Media MAPs provide Project alternatives that connect to the module theme, while also developing New Media Literacy Skills. The Teaching Suggestion & Worksheets link takes you to the suggestions listed for each module, and for those with accompanying worksheets; you can click on the link to access a PDF that is ready-made for use in the classroom.The resources pages provide online and print resources that connect with the modules’ themes for Tracks A and B.Other supplementary planning tools that can be incorporated into any module include the New Media Literacy Tools, Project MAP, and Workplace MAPs.
